Well-Arranged Molecules is the mineral project of Kevin Downey, dedicated to finding and sharing fine minerals worldwide with those who appreciate them. Begun as a source for fine Chinese minerals, WAM has expanded in scope to include many of the major minerals sources on planet Earth.
Collection purchases have given us a substantial stock of exceptional classic specimens, rarities and otherwise unavailable treasures. Several months each year we travel internationally to search out new finds and good values. It is an endless and fascinating search! By visiting mines and buying significant established collections, we have established a reputation for having affordable, interesting and fine specimens. We exhibit at major US Mineral shows and do take special requests.

Well-Arranged Molecules is primarily a web based shop but live human visitors are welcome by prior arrangement when we are in country. Although this is a business, it is also a labor of love and for us it is an honor to handle and supply fine pieces for those who share that appreciation. Personal interests include Barites, Lead secondaries and Northeastern US historic and classic minerals. Of course we look to buy minerals, one piece or a collection, and inquiries of all types are very welcome! Appraisals and collection building support are also part of our world.
